I cannot switch users or log out.
When I click the button to switch users or log out on Ubuntu 22.04 it does nothing. I am trying to switch from root user to any other user. When I use su in the terminal it says something like "su: system error" with nothing else or only switches users in terminal. Help would be appreciated as I cannot run programs in the root user.

Lol I got stuck in the user I was trying to make in terminal and now cannot start VNC. I will just reinstall the OS I guess lol.
