ive only just recently started having the tpm 2.0 error on valorant but ive been running windows 11 for a while, ive tried alot of things but nothings fixed it. tho ive heard if u downgrade to windows 10 it'll be solved, should i do it?

I’m currently on windows 10 and I’m experiencing the same issue right now, I don’t have tpm in my bios.

You’ll have to contact riot support, I did that and they make you download their repair tool that scans all your specifications on your pc, after that you will forward the files to them to review it, they take around 5 hours to respond though
In bios idr which section it will be given to enable tpm and secure boot

ur tpm module may be named differently depending on manufacturer
for example ftpm for amd mobos, intel trusted platform
there's a high chance u have tpm 2.0 module if u got a cpu and mobo that's after 2014
initially yes, but I've seen that machines on win10 now requires secure boot and tpm
if ur machine is rated highly vulnerable by the system

especially when ur machine isn't on uefi mode
I've seen some ppl using uefi mode with csm to boot mbr disks
that might be the problem, in that case, u don't enjoy uefi features, u will need to reinstall windows using an usb and convert ur disk to gpt mode during windows setup
correct, there is also a util with windows named MBR2GPT
that can be used to convert to gpt
from mbr
there's some more tools, they work, but well, I can't recommend them since I'm not sure how they implement it
using tools like this are only recommended for those who doesn't want to reinstall windows

Ok, from what I remember (let me know if I forgot anything) I could not activate tpm or secure boot in bios and even when I did it said it was unsupported when I checked later. For me personally it said that my motherboard “could not support UEFI” which was needed to support secure boot. If I remember right, after trying a bunch of different things all I had to do was use the MBR2GPT thing (like @saucywan said earlier https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/mbr-to-gpt) I didn’t have to backup my drive but if you would like to you can. It didn’t take long nor change much but when I went back into bios I was able to enable tpm and secure boot and then run the game and I haven’t had an issue since
Essentially all you are doing is reformatting the disk with a built in windows function so that it can support those, it’s nothing sketch don’t worry (and I linked a windows page about it too)
I know a bit about computers but only very basic knowledge and nothing about any of this so it was a simple and beginner friendly fix, let me know if you need any more help!

I have something similar to that and I couldn’t boot my pc on UEFI and only legacy, I also have some unsupported errors as well as no tpm and secure boot doesn’t work even when enabled and loaded, I updated my asus motherboard from the 2014 version to 2016 but didnt change anything 🤷 I got to hope this reinstall of windows and Valorant does something

im not sure if u can do something about it to make it not considered easy cheatable or vulnerable by vanguard, u can ask riot support about that
now I got to hope reinstalling my entire windows and Valorant will hopefully not give me the same error if it does I’ll have to either hope riot support can remove the restriction for me or tell me what to do to bypass it

Hmm, you might have to look up how to boot on uefi for your specific motherboard, I’m sure you already have but I personally doubt that reinstalling everything will work
u need to boot windows on gpt disks when using uefi mode
uefi can boot both gpt and mbr disk actually

I’d try the mbr2gpt tool first but if for some reason that doesn’t work then you can try that, just because the tool is a little easier to navigate as a beginner
