Alright here are some other things you can try: Restart client, PC and router: If you have checked the status of Riot Games’ servers and they are all up and running, a quick reboot of the client, PC and your router might be able to fix it. Run Valorant as administrator: Right click on the Valorant icon and select the Compatibility tab. Here, select ‘Run this program as an administrator’ checkbox and click apply and OK Re-installing Vanguard: Vanguard is Riot Games’ anti-cheat software and players often run into errors or bugs due to this software. A lot of Valorant players have speculated that this VAL 5 error code might be because of Vanguard and reinstalling the anti-cheat might solve it. You can also update your network drivers and close all unnecessary programs from the Task Manager before checking if the game works properly. If none of these methods work for you and if VAL 5 error still persists, you can submit a ticket to Riot Games on its support page.

Firewall or router settings? Valorant requires access to the following ports: TCP Ports: 80: HTTP (standard web traffic) 443: HTTPS (secure web traffic) 2099: PVP (Riot platform) UDP Ports: 3478, 3479, 3480: game client? 7000-8000: game client 8180-8181: game client There's a few more for voice and other stuff, but i'm not entirely familiar with the rest of ports in this game... NOW, that being said, this is probaly all a waste of time, sorry for the useless info lol XD. If your internet and router supports UPnP (which majority of equipment now days usually does...), you shouldn't have to do any of this. If you live in an apartment or any other managed complex or structure of internet accessibility, it may be worth contacting your internet service provider for further assistance.
