This would be a great question, especially for fresh career starters/foreign nationals who don’t have much experience. I recently found out a Facebook group full of consultancies that would take anyone in and market their profile to clients, and they would also help to file for green card (important for foreign nationals). However, I’m not too sure how to find the right consultancy, because some of them have really bad rate/benefits (or I believe most don’t have insurance since it’s contract role). How do we look for the right consultancy in this case? Because if a foreign national goes through immigration stuff, it’s going to be working for the same consultancy for few years (client will be different depends if your contract get extended or new contract)

Sorry to rain on this parade but that industry is filled with scammers. Unless you are working with a US immigration attorney, treat any promise to get you a green card with the same skepticism as you would a promise to get you 100% return on your investment in 6 months. It’s not impossible but it’s also not very likely.☹️

That’s very sad to hear..
I guess shooting for FTE jobs are better then lol. Consultancy is mostly just contract jobs as well, without benefits
