i have a 144hz and 60hz monitor. whenever im in a valorant match my screen tears and flashes black every like 2 seconds when my refresh rate on my 144 hz monitor is 144 but if i switch it to 60 it doesnt do it

having to play on 60 hz instead of 144 is annoying me
First check whether a loose connection on the HDMI cable is causing problems. To do this, you can easily wiggle the cable ends or feel the cable for a break. If in doubt, try a different cable.
The software can also be to blame for display problems. Update your graphics card drivers via Device Manager or download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website.

my main 144hz uses a dp-in cable
like hdmi dp-in on both sides
and i jus switched to hdmi
i get a new monitor for christmas anyway
so i can deal with one monitor for now
