Dangerous Site Warning using custom subdomain
Got a dangerous site warning on Chrome mobile (android) when attempting to login to my app using the custom subdomain that I connected to Kinde.
In my Kinde dashboard, it shows SSL certificate is provisioned for my custom subdomain.
How can I fix this?

Hi @internetjohnny,
Do you know if this warning occurs when accessing the same URL on an Applde device or on a browser other than Chrome?
Tested it on safari and firefox on iOS and havent had any issues
Must be an issue with Chrome. Would you be willing to send the URL of your site? You can send it in a DM if you would prefer that.
Thanks, DM'd you 🙂
Thanks @internetjohnny, I'll have a look now.
Hey @internetjohnny,
I unfortunately cannot successfully replicate your issue.
I have passed on this issue to my teammates to look into.
In the meantime, can you please check if you can replicate this issue in an Incognito Chrome window?
Also would you be able to try replicate this issue on a non-iOS device? e.g. Chrome on a desktop machine?
We've seen this before when an antivirus substituted the certificate on the local machine.
Technically antivirus becomes a man-in-the-middle in order to scan unencrypted traffic. Could you check the details of the certificate? The issuer should be
Let's Encrypt
, issued to your sub-domain.The issue didn't happen to me, but to one of my users. I have tried to replicate it on my end but unfortunately (or fortunately?) wasn't able to either. I'll reach out to see if they are able to.
That would be helpful if they can replicate the issue. If they can record their issue too that would also be helpful.
