Screen Capture/streaming working with NVIDIA
Hey folks, trying to find a distro where I can run KDE with Wayland using NVIDIA drivers. Currently moved from Kinoite to Kubuntu because getting the NVIDIA drivers to work was beyond me.
As part of my job I need to do screen recording and streaming
I need the NVIDIA drivers because I also have to use CUDA as part of my job
I want Wayland because KDE on X11 doesn't fully work correctly for screen scaling. Some apps seem ok and some don't
Does anyone have experience successfully doing my use case without having to sacrifice a chicken or growing a pointy beard?

There's some issues w/ flickering on Nvidia Wayland ATM with the latest driver, but it does work
I can't have flickering when I am recording though. I think I will have to use OBS, as it is the only one that supports KDE on Wayland well
I guess I should just try
if you want to record games, best way ATM is obs-vkcapture
we ship that vulkan layer ready-to-use

Probably not games - not as graphically intensive. Terminal, Intellij, FF, some other desktop apps
I see, both wayland and x11 should support capture. The flicker should be fixed relatively soon
