[SOLVED] using x11 session, but games open on Wayland.
I want to play Star Citizen with x11. but even changing the session to x11 the games continue to use Wayland.

you can't have both at the same time, what makes you think it's opening in Wayland?

that's very odd, has to be a bug of some kind because I don't see gamescope being requested and you cannot use wayland on an x11 desktop without a nested compositor

when the game is running check with
ps ax | grep gamescope and see if it actually uses gamescope in the background
you can also look for other things like wayland and stuff
as its certainly oddok i am leaning towards bug too because gamescope is not even running

I checked and unchecked the session option in goverlay and it is showing correctly now
