Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS for production workloads.
Collaborate with software development teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Implement best practices for containerization, including Docker image creation, management, and optimization.
Work closely with development and QA teams to facilitate smooth code deployments and releases.
Maintain and update documentation related to infrastructure, processes, and configurations.
Stay up to date with industry trends and AWS/Kubernetes best practices to continuously improve our infrastructure and processes.
Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support and incident response.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, including cluster provisioning, maintenance, and scaling.
Proficiency in containerization technologies, especially Kubernetes.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
Knowledge of container orchestration, load balancing, and networking concepts.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified Kubernetes Specialist are a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environment.
