Should I remove the half-belt from my double rider?
I've had a Schott 519 for a while, but I have always felt the belt looked a little awkward on my build since the buckle is pretty big and I--and this jacket model--are more slim. I didn't take a fitpic, but the buckle also sometimes sort of weighs down the jacket and makes it flare out a bit which doesn't look great.
With that in mind, I'm pretty open to removing the belt, but the epaulets are making me second guess myself since it feels like it might look unbalanced having those more loud details up top (they are not super low profile and also have star studding) but nothing down at the waist.
The second picture is from a grailed listing I found where someone did remove the belt. I think there was also a 3sixteen x Schott collab a few years ago that was a 519 with no belt but it had more subtle hardware.
Any thoughts?

Is the belt sewn onto the jacket itself or can it easily be removed like a belt you wear with trousers?
If it's easily removed then fairly easy to take it out and store it. See how you prefer the jacket without it
If it's sewn in I would be a little more hesitant personally but that's a decision for you to make
