anyone had luck clicking the "make available to public" checkbox for a work google account? I don't think it'd raise suspicion but never had to worry about it before so here we are

yep - in gcal you can allow permissions outside your org so you can share the link with your personal
usually only shows free/busy due to their settings - but i did it for J1 a long time ago, j2 came with it unchecked

ye pretty much. worst case if i get noticed I'd literally say i don't wanna install the work profile on my phone (android) and i was late to a meeting today without it.

LTTP on this question but I did this once.
My reason was to put my availability on my wife's phone so she knows when I'm available. Reasonable excuse imo.
