game randomly closes and bluescreens

my friend's Valorant randomly closes and bluescreens my entire monitor after doing so. This has been happening for quite a while now randomly during matches and is very annoying since it takes time to rejoin our match in progress... is this issue universal or is it because of his budget pc?
