Multiple okta / zoom / teams on the same device?
Hi, I am new to OE -- if I do not want to pay $$$ for a new phone, is it OK to have multiple okta / zoom/ teams on my device?

Not sure if I understand this question. I use multiple Google Chrome profiles (each in different windows) with respective Okta sign on from my Js and no issue thus far.

To elaborate, I sign on each Chrome profile with J's email (so far all my Js use GSuite) and within each Chrome window profile, I can signon to its respective Okta, Zoom, Slack, etc.

woah, you can do this all on a single device? O_o

Everything I do in my Chrome tabs here is automatically sync in my work laptop Chrome profiles. AFAIK, they can't track anything on my other Chrome profile because they're logged into different emails

Sick! I've also deleted the screenshot since your earlier message conveys the message anyways and less personal

Thanks 😊
This correlate to the Multiple Outlooks I guess, but I'm a power Gsuite user

Multiple Okta fine, Zoom is fine
O365 Stack (Outlook, teams) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Chat) is dependent on company installing MDM profile, if they ask you to download a separate app to install a device profile. Just get multiple phones if you are really insistent on it.

What about Google auth? Duo?
In my experience, multiple duo has been fine as in no J has said anything

I have it all. Those apps are not managed by the companies and shouldn’t affect OE

Google Auth isnt managed, its just a OTP rotating code.
However there are restrictions to some companies Email and Communication and requires you download their MDM profile. Teams and Google Workspace both have it

Once MDM is installed, that whole device is unusable for anything else other than the J that installed said MDM. I wouldn't risk it even with my personal email.

i do the same! just another data point that it works great.

Read through the whole thread. Seems like he got in trouble for logging into his Chrome profile in his WORK laptop.
I stand by having multiple chrome profiles in personal laptop and there’s no way an IT guy can track anything outside of the work’s chrome profile.

Yep yep! We got that cleared lol

Thought I would drop my pep talk here for tldr 😝
Going thru and reading old messages, my IT Director at J1 recently confirmed this. They can't see when anyone logs on to other profiles lol
Even on work laptop (for my J1)
But they definitely have no control when you log in on personal
