Looking for comments on this pair of Corthay Arca shoes
Hi all, I purchased these Corthay Arca from an online retailer in pre-owned condition and it was a display pair.
The suede seems quite distressed. I have found some examples of distressing on this model of shoes, but not many.
My question is - is this shoe actually destroyed from repeating brushing for display or is it part of “patina” design. I do like it as it is, but don’t want to pay for a “damaged” shoe.
The rest of the shoe looks new. And the fit is good too. I would really appreciate your comments, particularly if you have a lot of experience with kind of footwear. I’ve not received any response from Corthay.
Note: both photos are the same, with different levels of brightness.

they look fine
It's not "destroyed". It's a stylistic choice the maker made for what the shoe would look like
The suede just seems to have a low nap

those are gorgeous tf
This is reassuring
