Unresponsive transition
Hello all, I am having a problem with my transition duration working, I don't know what to do.

I dont think there is any problem with your transition. You are using after element with no content. When there is no content, width: 100%, the element itself would not be visible. Put some content in it and check if the transition works.
I can't even tell if its working or not
