OPEN ENROLMENT
Really annoyed at myself for missing early enrolment… the email just got lost with all the other junk. I don’t live close to Seneca which is why early enrolment was crucial so that I can pick a schedule that worked for me. How’s open enrolment? Are classes usually filled or is it still hopeful that I can get the schedule I want?

best profs are prioritized over schedule for most people, especially with early enrollment. You can manage just fine with open enrollment and find a decent schedule as long as you don't mind eating a couple bad profs
Unfortunately might be a problem for first semester because many classes do have components of the course that are in-person, so if you get a doodoo schedule you have to commute, unless for some courses you decide you're willing to drop quiz marks, etc (some courses you can't skip shit, some you can).
Just do your best with what you can get. You'll still have choices and at the end of the day good vs bad profs make things a lot easier in certain ways, but you doing well or passing is entirely up to you. I wouldn't stress or beat yourself up about it. It's done with man.
Thanks guys
i thought early enrollment was in dec 6
depends on your semester a bit iirc
but open enrollment is on the 6th
about that, I had an email saying open enrolement is on 6th and early is on 5th? is that right?
trust the emails
if they tell you early enrollment is on December 4th at 13pm you just figure out how to be there for 13pm
wait, which day was the email for the intent to enroll?
and due date
what does is mean?, I missed early enrolement due date by 1 day, but it still says im in
congrats
ohh, thanks!
about to start first sem in CPA any tips?
IPC144 is pretty much the only thing that matters
read your addendum so you don't auto-fail APS by missing one of the tests
can you elaborate more about this plz
every course has the minimum pass percent sure, but almost every course also has an additional condition for passing on top of just your average grade in the course
sometimes it's >50% weighted average across tests, sometimes it's a particular section of a project, or a final project itself that's required to be working to pass the course, etc.
so it's generally a good idea to read the addendum for every class to make sure you don't accidentally trigger one of those conditions
Okay, I understood clearly thanks a lot!.. where can I find this e addendum for a particular course?
after enrolling into it ig?
yeah after the class opens it'll be available on the blackboard
Okay, appreciate your heads up.
