Casual white pants
I want to get my first pair of white (ecru really) casual pants and currently I am torn between denim jeans and painter pants. I know this is very subjective but just wanted to get some opinions to help me decide. Which type of pants would be the better option?

Pretty basic really. Think the "basic bastard" leaning towards americana and workwear
I love my Stan ray painters. Very versatile and can be styled with anything IMO. I wear OCBD’s and hoodies alike with them
I think either would work. It depends on the texture and fit you want—painter/carpenter pants are more versatile overall, but denim will lean into the ruggedness of American workwear.
