I have a wedding coming up in a month or so, I don’t like my suit atm and don’t know where to go
I’m thinking I want like a green or a brown suit, leaning towards darker rather than light.
I also only really like wider leg fit on trousers and it seems hard to find anywhere that isn’t mostly slim fit.
My budget I guess is less than like 3 or 400 if possible
Where do you get your suits from, what’s your experience with suit shopping?

there's almost no way to buy a decent new suit for less than 400
Spier is close to that budget but unless you live near Toronto you can't really try things on in-person and have to try making your measurements work. Also their cuts aren't wide
If you're willing to buy secondhand and are able to figure out your measurements, you should be able to get a Brooks Brothers suit or many options for other good suitmakers sub-400
As GSH said, within the budget there is almost nothing worth buying new. We all want to spend as little as possible, so your choices are:
1. Go to stores (department stores, menswear stores, tailors), increase your budget
2. Go to stores, hope to find something decent in person (maybe black friday sales?)
3. Go to stores, buy something not very good
4. Figure out your best measurements, buy something decent online, get it tailored
5. Shop second-hand, whether in store or in person
Note that you have only one month and this is a very tight timeframe. Most suits will require tailoring and you need to budget two weeks for that (one week is usually enough but you may need a second round.) You need to be visiting stores and tailors TODAY and buy something by the end of the week.
Spier & Mackay is the only one I know who reliably sells decent menswear at that price point but unless you live in Toronto, as GSH said, you'd have to buy online. I do NOT recommend this strategy for a first time suit buyer. Also, S&M cuts run slim and you want fuller cut.
For those looking for a full cut suit on a budget, I generally recommend looking at Brooks Brothers first, hoping for some sales, and department stores in general.
