whats the consneus on repeat steps? I saw 1 lora video that had it for 25, and the most recent one for full blown dreambooth at 40

interesting, ill give that a shot (1 epoch, repeat 200). This is using roughly 10ish images?
yes
so save checkpoints with n steps
lets say 10 images
so it makes 4000 steps with reg images
so save every 401 steps you will get 10 checkpoints
or save every 801 steps
got it, thank you. I've been messing with pets with very good results - cats for some reason have been harder to get right so working on generating more regularization images
i think SDXL is trained with more dogs than cats 😆

when you do higher the model will lose quality
but still dreambooth much better than any lora
