Any way to make old dry scratchy wool more wearable?
I have a really cool hand knit vintage sweater but its like really dry if that makes any sense and unbearably coarse and scratchy to wear. Is there any way to soften the textile without ruining it?

Lanolin conditioner.
I always find just wearing it softens it over time

Maybe the bodies natural oil? Because I heard wearing your jewellery can help keep its shine
