jacket alteration -too small?
Just got my jacket back from alterations and I’m worried it’s too small now, does it look okay?

Set your phone on something and take pictures with the self timer so you can have your arms at rest
Take one front one back and one side

Where specifically are you worried about? At first glance on my phone it looks okay but I only spent a few seconds. Will look properly at proper pictures
The top button just looks like it pulls a bit I guess
but looking at suit pictures that seems quite common

Front view looks the best. Jacket body length, collar, shoulders, chest, waist. The waist button is visibly doing a little bit of work but a little is fine.
From the front, the sleeves I assume are not different length but just an imperfect photo
Side, it looks like your shoulders aren't quite filling out the jacket, with a bit of fabric "falling" from the shoulder pad down your upper arms. A bit too full maybe. Not the worst. I am hoping the lapels are following your chest line and not bowing out?
The back is by far my least favorite. It's stretching across your shoulder blades - usually means it needs a bit more fullness there. It looks pinched at your waist. Looks like it might be pinched across the butt as well. Overall I think that means it needs to be let out some. Not exactly a tailor but I think you should come back to yours to ask whatup. This seems obvious enough that s/he should have seen it.
If this is just a dry cleaner alterationist I might recommend a proper tailor, though nothing is terribly hard about what I hope is the solution (not that I am any sort of authority, so I may be misdiagnosing)
It wasn’t a dry cleaner type place but it also wasn’t a tailor - although I would think they would know what they’re doing but not sure
Going to have to leave it for now as I have a wedding on Saturday and they won’t be able to do it before then
As long as it looks good from the front that’s all people will remember 😂
