How to ID clothes?
Is there a trick to it or do I just have to be persistent? I've resorted to periodically checking grailed in an attempt to narrow down some thrift store finds of mine, no luck yet.

What are you trying to id? A brand?
A specific jacket, I know the brand
People here could try to ID it

* Being terminally fashion online
* Google-Fu
Like some designer brands will have info on collection year and season on them. Which some ppl might put on grailed or eBay listing
Oh yeah and some brands might have active FB groups which also buy/sell
If it's older mall brand tier you're probably mostly out of luck. Anything pre mid to late 00s was barely catalogued online and even after that there's tons of stuff that never appeared online, or disappeared/went bust etc pretty quickly.
