Jeans to wear with tailoring.
My increasingly knackered 105’s have a little too much character to wear with tailoring. I’m considering another pair of 105’s , SFC Jeans or outside pitch some kapital century #5s. I want a higher waist, not tapered but proportions that make sense with tailoring. Im not looking for anything too “clean” but don’t want them to look incongruous with a tailored jacket. Appreciate any suggestions!

SFC jeans are sick so are the Kapital ones. Sugar Cane 1947s, Warehouse Lot 100xs, Stevenson Overall Co, Dawson Wide Leg, Tender Co 125s, Freewheelers 1947s, Black Sign, and Blackhorse Lane Atelier worth looking into as well.
My cup runneth over. Many thanks.
We are probably living in a Golden Age of denim right now. There’s too many good jeans
I like Albam's denim offerings. Also heard good things about Community clothing
We can thank the denimheads for their sacrifice in creating the glut.
You’re welcome. I did not sacrifice the leg hair on my calfs for nothing
I am always overwhelmed looking at denim
Sorry to hijack the thread but anyone have any ideas for denim that fits these parameters and are already washed? I've stopped caring about sick fades and don't love dark wash
Some of these have wash options
Your sacrifice is truly appreciated
I want to try some light wash 501s
The sugar cane is pretty accessible here and the pattern looks to be on point. I’m gonna go with a 34, I’m usually between a 32 and 33 and everything says size up. I’m not looking to suffer breaking them in. That sound right?
@Elvander Levi’s 619 have a monster rise and are marginally tapered compared to 501s. I like 501s with straighter sack jackets and 619 for cleaner jackets. Drake’s is also solid but the rise on recent runs isn’t what it used to be.
Yeah I’d go 34 if I were you. If needed you can always shrink with the dryer and shrink more with a hot wash
community clothing doesn’t ship outside the UK unfortunately:(
