I have some jacket and coat buttons I need to replace and a torn lining to stitch back up. Any good resources on how to do so would be appreciated.

I would just do a YouTube search for "replacing buttons" and watch a couple of videos. You'll get the idea. Buttons are not complicated, IMO. Repairing a torn lining seems a little harder (I tried it once, and wasn't pleased with the results), but, again, YouTube is your friend.
