Regarding that message. Bots can't create invites on their own e.g. when added to a guild gets a guild invite and sends in the support server (all with
guildCreate
event). I noticed the invites did create on their own if I was in the guild. Note that this is not a command of any sort, bot joins server, creates an invite and sends it to the support server in a channel4 Replies
- What's your exact discord.js
npm list discord.js
and node node -v
version?

Marked as resolved by staffIs that correct?
bot will not create invites on their own
they can create when being added to a guild but its probably against tos
The invites create when I'm in that guild but this is all run through the event, not a command.
Invite generates if I'm in the guild, if not then it returns undefined.
Which is a little odd
As there is no code anywhere to see if I'm in the server or not
I was thinking that but don't want to violate anything
Is there a way to get an invite code from the guild and send it somewhere?
Without creating an invite
