Unsure of how to make a winter wardrobe?

Hey all I'd like to get recommendation on what colours/sweatshirts i should look into, because truth be told I just dont know how to dress properly and would like to start learning somewhere. I did get a black sweatshirt and trouser, but I don't really know if that is good enough A specific budget in numbers: £ 400 Your location: United Kingdom Whether you would prefer to buy in person or if online: Both Timescales: We are close to black friday, should I wait? Whether you're happy to buy second hand: No unless there's some really good recommendation Specific body measurements: 6' Height, Sized a UK Large for Shirts/Sweaters and a 34" for trousers. If you need additional info from me please ask

Start with 1) practicality for the weather (or lack thereof if you spend all your time indoors, in a car, etc, rather than outside); and 2) formality requirements and intent, as one person's "dressing properly" is not at all the same as another's

I mean I’m in the uk and I’m very much in love with my winter wardrobe because I just followed some principles: like buying stuff of a decent material, checking if I like the cut of the item, making sure I like it enough where I’ll wear it again in 2-3 years In terms of colours just watch some fashion vids on colour theory but In terms of autumn/ winter the colour combos I think of are blue/green brown/blue greys, and blacks but you obviously don’t have to just wear these colours So just think of what you wear in autumn/ winter and go from there so research in some hoodies, jumpers, sweatshirts, trousers etc. Brands that u can take a look into: Uniqlo, COS, ARKET, Depop, Vinted, eBay. acne studios, our legacy, mki miyuki zoku the last three are pricey so I would recommend buying them second hand. I wouldn’t spend too much money now because you seem to be just starting off and getting into fashion you don’t wanna spend 100£ on a jumper and not like it in a year, it’s best to build your wardrobe slowly. I prefer to buy online tbh as I mainly shop second hand
