Where do I put the font face?

I was just trying @font-face {} with a CSS file, I was just wondering where this is usually kept at. (I mean the file with the fonts, like a .tff)

My directory if its important Just right now I did just put it above my full-css.css file

it doesn't actually matter that much, it just needs to be accessible to the end user, and the path needs to match
