I think they are small pieces of leather left from cutting coats and larger pieces. so it's "scrap"? that's my best guess. maybe it is just fraud though? lol idk
I don't think it's straight up fraud, that's pretty rare, but it's probably the lowest quality shearling available and probably not made very well

I might just buy it. I mean for ~$40 so what if it falls apart or is lower quality shearling. I think it actually looks nice too
