could be a virus scanner or file system rights issue. What happens when you click on "try downloading manually"?
file is being downloded with .vsix
i hd the extensions but they dissperd nd im trying to downlod them gin
also i did tht before
there's a lot to unpack in that image...
is your C:\Users\User\ folder a git repo?!
these files appeard here
and you're running vscode on that folder?
how to check that?
is there a folder C:\Users\User\.git\
ye
that's a really bad idea
how do i remove tht
removing a git repo is usually just done by removing the .git folder, but I have no idea what all you've done in that repo to change or modify files... like... C:\Users\User\ is where Windows stores pretty much all your personal and application data, and checking that all into a git repo and then modifying it using git is just a nightmare I'm not really comfortable unraveling over the internet
the only advice I can give right now, is to just never ever ever use git in that folder in any way, shape or form
so i should just remove tht folder?
that is how you remove a git repo, but at the same time there might be files in there or a log of what you did that might let you repair stuff. I'm not saying you should or shouldn't, not touching that with a ten foot pool, sorry
ok im removing it
maybe make a zip backup of it first or something if you do
anyway, let me know if using that .vsix file worked
ye i mnged to downlod the extensions
removing thr .git file helped too
thnks
it also looks like you're using C:\Users\User\ to put your projects in maybe?
and opening that folder in vscode?
C:\Users\User\Desktop\all codes here
ive something like tht
ah, that's fine. I just wouldn't recommend opening C:\Users\User\ in vscode, if you want to see all your projects at once at least just open C:\Users\User\Desktop
alrighty thank you
when i deleted the .vscode file it basically deleted all my data?
it would've deleted pretty much all plugins and user settings for vscode yeah
i think im good now thnk you gain i close the post
