Dating a London Fog overcoat.
Hi there, i impulsively picked up this overcoat for about 20 dollars from a garage sale a while back. was recently looking at it after not touching it since i bought and realised it might older than i thought.
I now know talon zippers are indicative of an item being vintage, and I think that london fog expanded overseas for production to compete with other companies in 1983? so I'm guessing it's ewrly to mid 80s? what are your guys thoughts?

I think Korea made a lot of clothes between 1960s-1970s ish
oh damn. thatd be quite a bit older than expected if so. i picked this just assuming it was a more recent piece
can also provide more photos of any particular part in the morning if anyone wishes
Probably the only way to really find out is to email or tweet them https://twitter.com/Londonfog
Just some searching on the label and zipper style i’d say late 70’s-80’s. It looks like they started being made in korea around the 80’s
Tunnock’s rec of emailing them is a great idea, usually they will be able to id the date pretty accurately
Ykk pretty much dominated the zipper market in the 80’s so definitely not newer than 80’s. I would guess early 80’s as my best estimate
yeah, i think late 70s, early 80s for sure
might make a twitter acc to date my garage sale thrift. this is what technology was made for
