IOS Cloud symbol and cloud check
Hi, I’m using last version, 1.82.1 on server and app.
But IOS formats (heic and mov) are synced, I can see on Browser Library and on app, but only png or jpg formats gets cloud check symbol.
These at new files. Not old ones, files from today. I also check they are in Library directory on this day.
Also I have error logs about resolving codec.
It’s only a information? Because the photos and videos are uploaded and are available.

Are the cloud-only asset in the album you selected for backup?
No, all. I have selected Recents, has all photos.
Can you try logout and log back in?
Yeah sure.

You think it’s better remove the app and install again?
Yes please if you can, I susepct some state management hiccup
Yeah, it’s the same. The upload is done and all new photos are available, just not the could check symbol. I think it’s because that error that I show.
The resolving image codec

Can you give me a bit more info on the setup? Have you used any other mechanism to get assets into Immich i.e web/cli/external library?
On Debian 10, docker compose the recommend version on docs, just change the upload location.
I use cli one time to upload a a big external usb hdd.
I don’t have any advanced options.
Would it be possible those videos are in that big external usb hdd?
No, that’s vídeos are before 2010, it’s not showing on this problem.
Actual videos are less then a minute, and they are ok.
I mean the videos and the files that doesn't have the cloud check mark, would it be possible that they are in the HDD you uploaded?
so that when the mobile app tried to upload, the server dedupped it and not uploaded the asset in the mobile app, that is why they are presented with the cloud only state
No, the problem are the new photos, like this week photos.
Older photos and videos are all ok.
This start happens when I update to version 1.82.1.
The cli and external hdd was about 3 month ago. (Everything was ok on that time)
can you try to remove those photos/videos from the web, then upload them again from the mobile app, does it still show cloud only icon?
If I delete in PC via web, the photo never shows again on immich app in the phone.
This means these photos aren’t uploaded from Immich
Or they are not from the album you selected for upload
