You have an error in your form code, either the designer generated file or your own. If the form doesnt compile, the designer can't show
Also, after you fix the code close the designer and reopen it. Sometimes it doesn't recognize that you fixed the code and keeps showing this type of error.
it can happen that you add or set something in the ui editor and then delete it in the code and edits are noy synchronized in the designer.cs file
