npx @vue-storefront/cli init with magento is broken

I typed npx @vue-storefront/cli init And this was the result

This is what the CLI_logs.txt says

. The final line in the log says

chmod: cannot access 'bin/magento': No such file or directory

chmod: cannot access 'bin/magento': No such file or directory

So because of this, i couldnt even get it to run

can you see if you're able to run bin/magento manually?
