transform chain positions - how is it organizing these?

As you can see in the codepen, without transform they both start at the same point, but with it, they end up at different points, and the only thing different is translate/rotate are swapped (Same values).
Is anyone able to explain why it's ended with them at different locations? the course isn't too clear on it, and I'd like to know 😄

I have figured it out! 😄 it's because the red-box first rotates 45 degrees, then it translates 200%, however the blue-box translates 200% first, then rotates 45 degrees.
