Trying to move my cloudflare owned domain to point to GoDaddy website im setting up
Hello all, im sorry if this has been discussed before but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to move my domain "petejensen;net" to GoDaddy in which i am setting up a website there; They told me
"You asked for help. Here it is.
Thanks for talking with me, GoDaddy Customer. You're off to a good start. The info I mentioned will help you take your next step. You'll find it all here:
A @ 76.223.105.230 3600 CNAME www petejensen.net 3600
If you need anything else, we're here to help.
WHen I look at that section there are multiple A name portions, I cannot figure out how to include what im guessing is the port of 3600?
Can anyone help me through this process?
Thanks in advance

This is what I have listed.l THe bottom icloud portion is for my email, However, there seems to. be multiple A sections, and even AAAA sections, so it has gotten confusing. Am I doing this correctly? Ive heard ir takes some time. I cant seem to delete the other A Record.
Ive found a way to delete the 104l 21 IP, should I do that and leave just the 76.223 IP?
Ive set it up like this in hopes that it will work...
were you trying to cname from www to your apex?
You have
petejensen
created which would come out as petejensen.petejensen.net
yeah im trying to just get my petejensen.net to move from cloudflare which was the registrar (hru apple) to hosting a website on GoDaddy
Apparently i cant change the nameservers on cloudflare either without a business plan at 250/month if thats necessary for this process
nah that's not what that business perk is:
There's a perk of Business which you can use Vanity Namesevers, but it's just the same Cloudflare nameservers/operation as normal besides the vanity names. If you used the Registrar, you just can't change nameservers at allYou've got some AAAA records there, did you create them? You also didn't create the www record
I didnt create the Aaaa record at all, all of this was put there automatically . The domain originated and was purchased thru ifcloud as an email forwarder so i can forward my icloud account to [email protected] - So then i thought, why noit put a website on petejensen.net. So I went with godaddy. So now my issue is just simply to move access/the account to GoDaddy so i can manage a site on godaddy.
They told me to place the A and CNAME there and it would work properly
do your dns records still look like this?
If they do, delete all the AAAA records. Delete the CNAME record called
petejensen
, create a new CNAME like CNAME
www
petejenset.net
Thse are the only screens I see, nothing about DNS tho
From that website overview/second screenshot, you'd go "DNS" on the left there and then Records to see your DNS Records.
It looks like this may also be a different case though, your website isn't active in that account. If you registered it via iCloud, I believe you should login via iCloud to the Cloudflare Dashboard, and the website should be "Active" there. Did you perhaps create a new account on a different email address?
