I applied my jobs through Seneca Career Portal and landed an interview, however I missed it because there was no meeting invite to be found anywhere in the school email nor the portal.
I found out that they sent the meeting invite through my personal email account. is this normal??????????????

That's unfortunate but you could explain this to them and maybe ask for another interview. Worth a shot

I did ask and gave brief explanation on what happened. but I doubt that they will give me another chance.

Though if they had your personal email, I don't think it is unusual
well, the career portal did not say any meeting place when I looked at it. I think the employer just used my resume contact
if it's in your resume that's lowkey fair game. but in student home, there's a place for your default email( something like that ) and for me it was set to my personal email, i had to change it. maybe check that as well.

shoot, probably the resume then. Just email them and do your best to explain
other than that it's an honest mistake, don't blame yourself too much.
the interview is nice, but a lot of interview's don't necessarily guarantee a job
