When you wear wider pants, should they still be hemmed if they're too long?
I know with more relaxed fits you can allow more draping to happen on the shoes, but does that mean the pants will be touching the floor cause they have extra length?

It depends, really.
You usually don’t want them touching the floor. You want them stacking on your shoes. But I like to let mine drag like this.

I think I've been so used to having cropped pants for so long that I'm just a bit lost LOL
Cropped will make them look more like straight rectangles, longer will make them crumple/drape depending on the fabric. It's up to you to choose which you prefer.
