Owned for a while now and really love this jacket. No idea what it is or what it was made for but I'm hoping to find out so I can cop another one!

Looks like a French (zippered) version of the American jungle jacket.
Though that didn’t turn up anything on google so ymmv
Makes me think of a hunting jacket but I can't seem to find one with details like this exactly so perhaps not?
looks like some kind of military jacket? could find something very similar at a military surplus store?
It looks very similar to an M65 Vietnam era jacket. But similarly to above that combined with french military didn't give me any luck on google
Could maybe try a reverse image search/Google lens
Its definitely a civilian hunting jacket based on a military coat, outside of some strange DIY SERE jackets you wont see the back pocket for small game like that

Jungle jacket in the front and hunting jacket in the back. Just noticed it has an action back which is interesting detail.
