Seriously:: Github contributions

Seriously, how do you approach contributing to open-source projects, especially when they appear to be extremely complex? I'm not just talking about 'UploadThing,' but projects in general. What motivates you to take part and what steps do you follow to contribute?

It’s a good question, however, it’s good to remember that most projects are maintained by a small group of people for a long time. Really, the best way to contribute to open source is to stick to a project while it is early and keep improving it as time goes on. The people that are working on these projects have a long history with them and know they’re own code very well It’s hard to get into new projects, and specially learn all the previous work that has already been done. Libraries are hard, and to start contributing takes quite some effort. I recommend watching this video
