Trimming unaltered chunks

In essence i want to trim all the unused chunks from a world i created in 1.20.1 so we can take advantage of the slightly new world generation in 1.20.2. I pregenerated 2000 blocks in every direction from spawn (not the smartest decision in hindsight xD) The cleanest solution in my opinion would be to delete all chunks that have not been altered by players. Meaning no blocks placed/broken, chests looted etc. I unfortunately was not able to find a tool that is able to that. A crude option that ive seen many times is to use mca selector and delete chunks with a low inhabited time but im not the biggest fan. Do you have an idea how this could be achieved?

inhabited time is the best measure you can use chunky trim so you dont have to download the world locally
