Corduroy sport coat fit
Does anyone else find sport coats in cotton corduroy more constricting or stiff than those in other fabrics, and do you size up? Last year I tried both a slim and a relaxed fit corduory sport coat from J. Crew in 42R, my usual size, and it always felt difficult to move in them.

No, but you aren't one size in everything. Buy what feels good and looks nice. I have jackets/sport coats in at least three different sizes.
I’d add that J. Crew’s cut is odd - never fits me well.
