Me too. Having the stream player be iframed also means we can't use the MediaSession API :/

Thanks for the comment @.rrnn, I appreciate that CF offers the HLS/Dash endpoints so that we can use third party libs with Stream 🙂 I've already moved to HLS.js but the things that would have made me use the Stream player instead:
- Better perf with many players. Each iframe does so much work, it's not feasible for a feed of videos.
- MediaSession support, fairly important for mobile-targeted apps.
- Better mobile UI, the tiny pause/play button on mobile in particular irked me.
I totally get that it's impossible to solve everyone's problems with one player though 😄

I don't have any specific requirements or requests at this point. I'm not particularly familiar with videos and players in general. I was just really shocked to see how big the payload is and how badly it affects lighthouse scores. Any attention that cloudflare can put on those two issues would be greatly appreciated.
