Xbox Series S controller detected as X360 controller
Hello, if i connect my gamepad through bluetooth it is detected in steam as an xbox 360 controller, and it behaves weirdly - long pressing guide button is registered as single click. I tried to switch drivers with
just use-stock-gamepads but nothing changed. I don't really understand why we have some custom drivers for gamepads, when i think that xbox controllers are supported natively in linux.7 Replies
nevermind, after some research i found out that linux does not have native xbox controller support, and xpadneo is the only driver atm for bluetooth
its not that xpadneo is the only driver, its just the most feature rich one with the support for more controllers than xpad last time i checked 🙂
Im having trouble with my controller as well. Detected as 360 and input is not working. Was working fine a few seconds ago. over Bluetooth
