Any tips for getting out heavily set in creases?

I've been trying to get some of the creases out of this old army jacket. They've probably been set in for decades. Regular ironing hasn't done much, any other things I could try? Thanks!

Yeah thats what ive been doing and theyre just too set in for it to work. I'll give it another go though. Normally I wouldnt mind that much, but the big vertical creases on the placket make it drape kind of weirdly.

Probably a dry cleaner. They'd use some industrial spray in addition to normal water + iron

Good idea, I'll take it over and see what they can do.

Steam and lots of pressure on the iron. Also there’s a thing called a clapper you can use to press down on the fabric after ironing until it has cooled and the moisture dissipated.
