❔ Why does VS think I don't have node/npm?

I'm trying to create an ASP.NET w/ React project in VS but it thinks I don't have npm. However I just installed node and npm and can even check the versions with npm -v in the command line. Is there something I have to do within VS to point to it?

did you restart VS after installing npm
Was this issue resolved? If so, run
