check uniqlo/abercrombie/h and m those are ur options tbh
uniqlo and abercrombie probably a tiny bit nicer than h and m

i've never bought something not new

I think you should try thrifting
It’s fun
yeah I actually get that but once u buy something secondhand u’ll realize it’s just as good/better as buying new
like half my clothes are secondhand bought online
there's also the misconception of secondhand necessarily meaning "old"
a lot of people keep stuff in good condition before selling it (maybe they just wore it once and didn't like it, grew out of it before the right season, etc)
way easier to find stuff in that price range
flannels usually end up being like $10-20 vs new
r there places that ask them to list how much they have worn it
every site will give a condition rating, depop/grailed/poshmark/ebay but u can also just look at the pics and see if it’s in good condition
gotta check it yourself if you're thrifting in person but online will usually have it in the description

or smell test in worst case scenarios
