style inspo ideas for navy wool coat
So im able to pick up this coat for €50, maybe even less as the guy seems to want to sell quite badly.
Any style inspo ideas? I could only really see myself wearing this over like a shirt in a formal setting, but i think that aould not make this worth it cost per wear, so maybs soms thoughts

This looks nice! Don't have any inspo pics for it, but I think you're right that it would go most naturally with tailoring. I've seen some cool fits with coats over chunky knitwear etc that could work though.
I agree with a chunky knit. Off the top of my head im thinking cotton herringbone pants in olive, brown boots, maybe a white button down with a charcoal knit sweater.
I don't know if it will help but I recently wore an outfit with a navy blue overcoat, high waisted trousers, and a dress shirt, I think it's a nice aesthetic, you can put a 2 or 3 piece suit and it might look even better
