Buddy of mine has their sneakers and is a big fan. Don’t know anyone with boots from them.

To keep it about the product, they are cheaply made. They're overpriced for the quality and it reflects in the leather out of the box and as it ages. If you need a boot to wear for a year i'm sure you'll get on fine and nobody will care, but they don't have a very good reputation compared to more reputable boot makers
The one pro I've consistently heard is that they make boots in very small men's sizes
Apparently not because he said they were ugly, which is something to do with the shoe itself
BTW the ethics of a company are pertinent to the shoe itself, because when you buy the shoes you support the causes the CEO donates to
(hint: those causes exist to take away the rights of women)
