Transfer domain without changing nameservers
Hey everyone - my domain registrar, Webador, gave me a transfer code but no option to change the nameservers and cloudflare requires their nameservers to be used. Is there any bypass for this requirement?

No, unfortunately not. Your nameservers need to be set to CF's before you can transfer the domain in. You could transfer it to a third party, like porkbun or namecheap, then transfer it to CF, but then you'll be paying for 2 years of renewal, and you'll have to wait 60 days between each transfer.
Got it, that sucks ☹️
Thanks for your help
Which registrar is generally recommended?
There are tons of them. I personally use Dynadot.
I would recommend both of the ones I mentioned, Porkbun and Namecheap. If not CF, I usually go to whichever one is cheaper of the two
Got it, but in general the cheapest one that lets you change nameservers?
Those two are often the cheapest ones I would trust 😅
Awesome, thanks for all the help!
Just to be 100% sure - porkbun allows changing the registrar?
If you mean nameservers, yes
I suppose registrar too.
You can transfer from porkbun to Cloudflare
Sorry yeah meant nameservers
Thanks!
