@.leenn regarding VMware vcenter: I see in the logs lots of root dse requests, where VMware is querying the properties of the LLDAP server. It's possible that it expects something that we don't populate in there, but I don't know what...

Here's a brand new thread for you! Please keep the discussion for this problem in this thread.

Do you get any interesting logs from VMware? Also, could you try restarting your dev LLDAP, doing one query with VMware (trying to find a group?) and then stopping it? The logs you gave me are quite big, it's hard to sift through.

Oh, and if you're using LLDAP in a company, please pitch a sponsorship! Even 20 euros a month (nothing for a company) would go a long way for the project And we can add your name to the sponsors, or (depending on the contribution) your logo in the readme, and a mention in a release

Ah, since you mentioned your tech lead, I thought it was within a business context 🙂 I know some people use LLDAP for a lightweight test cluster

Can I ask who it is? (and what you want to use LLDAP for?)

So who's the company? And btw, the second use case (I guess it's professional?) could be a prime example of something worthy of a small sponsorship. It doesn't hurt to try to pitch it. I think GitHub sponsors can give you nice invoices and stuff if needed. You can try to pass that as dev tooling costs, like paying for an IDE
